Florence was born Feb. 14, 1929 to William Herbert Cove and Mary Ann (Annie) Aikens. She died at the Sault Area Hospital on January 5, 2022 at the age of 92. Wife of the late John Hands. Loving mother to Gregory (Elaine Courteau), Anne-Marie (Bob Shami) and Michael (Sue Chong). Grandmother of Jacquelyn, Marc Andrew and Nathan. Sister of the late Marjorie Ramsay (late Don), Francis (Lorraine) Cove, late Betty Cloutier, Glenn (Pat) Cove, late Lynn Cove, late twins John and Gordon Cove. Florence is survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. K. Booth, NP Tristina Iaconis and the SAH medical staff on 2B, 2C and 3B for their compassionate care of mom over the past 6 months.
Resting at O’Sullivan Funeral Home, the family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 11th, 2022, from 12p.m – 1:45p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Precious Blood Cathedral, 778 Queen St E, at 2pm with an interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
