HAMOR, Joseph Wilford

(December 16, 1923 – March 25, 2012) Passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, March 25, 2012.  Born in Sunava, Czechoslavakia, eldest son of the late Paul and Mary Hamor.  Beloved husband of the late Veronica Praysner (2008) and Annie Fewchuk (1974).  Loving father of Lena Rae (late Doug) of Montana, USA, Jerry and Helen Hamor of Paris, Ontario, Mike and Cathy Hamor of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.  Proud Grandpa of Karen and Darren Kritzer, Oakville, Ontario, Doug and Nicole Hamor of Calgary, Alberta, Megan and Ryan Hamor of Sault Ste. Marie, and the late Kellona Johnson (2003).  Survived by six great-grandchildren.  Remembered by his step-daughter Patsy Gaetano and her husband Buddy, their family; brothers Paul (Nancy and the late Vivert)   and John  (Triece) Hamor; extended family members, friends and co-workers.  Joe worked most of his life for Algoma Central Railway, retiring in 1989.  A private family service will be held.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758).  www.northwoodfuneral.com
