It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Rutherford Haines at SAH at the age of 86 on Wednesday, December 29th. Predeceased by his love of his life Sandra Thomas, his parents, Elizabeth and Bill, and his big brother, Bill. Loving father of Shaughn Haines (Heather), Tracey Haines (Mario), and Becky Strom (daughter of Sandy Thurston). Ex Father in law of Jim Albury and Diane Baker, who both played a big role in his life right up until end. Proud Papa of Jennifer Haines (Jay), John-David Albury (Lindsey), Heather Haines (Jasper), and the late Jaime Albury. His great grandkids will also miss him greatly, Alex Jackson, Emily Whittington, Drew Albury, Jayce Albury, and Jada Thornton. Uncle of Kathy Haines. Anyone who had the privilege to meet John (Papa) knows that he was a very loving and caring soul, and we hope that continues wherever he winds up. He can now be reunited with the love of his life and those who have gone before him. Rest easy.
