Peacefully at the General Hospital on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Mae (nee McCaig). Loving father of Esther Haight (Ken) and the late Cora Gardiner (Murray). Cherished grandfather of Kim, Kirsten (Dan), Shelley (Sheldon), Kerry (Penny) and Carla (Don). Special great grandfather of Denise, Carl, Clayton, Christina, Mathew, Michael, Tabatha, Justin, Ashley and Richelle. Great great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Allan (Eleanor), Florence (late Lewis) and the late Denzil (late Freda). Brother-in-law of Thelma, Margaret, Bernard, Ted and predeceased by Eva, Rhoda, Jack, Ivan and Fred. Survived by many nieces and nephews. At Carl’s request there will be a private family service. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery.
