Gaetano Guzzo passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 30, 2003 surrounded by his family at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Rosa. Dear father of Gilda Sicoly (Mario), Eugenio Guzzo (Maria) and Nella Nicoletta (Antonio). Grandfather of Carmen Sicoly (Nancy), Angela Pieschke (Ken), Gaetano Guzzo (Irene), Pina Caicco (Anthony), Nick Nicoletta (Nicole) and Lori Liguori (Mario). Great grandfather of Nicholas Sicoly, Matthew Sicoly, Patrick Deluca, Kristian Nicoletta, Aiden Nicoletta and Sara Liguori. Brother of the late Maria Pagliaro, Saverio Guzzo and Santo Guzzo. Brother-in-law of Settimia Lepore (late Carmen), Mafalda Briglio (late Eugenio), late Luigina Ferrise (late Carmen), late Carmela Garafalo (late Giulio), late Emilia Fucile (late Luigi) and the late Eugenio Longo (Pasqualina). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Monday, February 3, from 9:00 am. until 12:30 pm.; then to St. Gregory's Church for funeral mass at 1:00 pm. with Rev. Victor Amadio officiating. Entombment at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital (Palliative Care) or to St. Gregory's Church would be appreciated by the family.
