September 19, 1959 – February 10, 2023
This special man took his last breath with his friend, companion and ‘life partner’ Margaret (Marnie) Carter by his side at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. Beloved son of the late Dominic and late Stella (nee Di Giamberdini) Guerriero. He was the best brother of the late Marilyn (Roger) Richie (Duluth, Minnesota), late Dominic ‘Nick’ (Arlene) Guerriero and Catherine Sundell.
Gerry was proud and honoured to have Justin and Natasha Carter (Stratford, Ontario) within his family circle. His greatest joy that always brought a smile to his face when being “Grandpa” to young Theodore Carter (Stratford, Ontario). He looked forward to seeing and talking with him via Skype.
Gerry was a long time friend of the Carter family; the late Donald Sr, Gail (late Frances Hill), Terry, Timothy (Cathy) (Oakville, Ontario), Donald Jr (Joanne), Sherry, Dan and all of their extended families. Loving uncle to Jennifer (Mike) Kelly, Mark Coccimiglio, Kristina (Eddie) Musculi, Nick Guerriero, Christina (Eric) Bomey (Duluth, Minnesota), Michael Richie (Duluth Minnesota), the late Robert Guerriero and great nieces and nephews.
Algoma Plate and Strip lost a hard working supervisor in June 2013 when he took an early retirement. Gerry’s greatest wish was for family and friends to remember him as you knew him.
This fun-loving intelligent man was cremated at Evergreen Crematorium in Milton, Ontario. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Eirene Cremations, Hamilton, Ontario. As per his wishes, there will be no services.
