After courageous strength and dignity dealing with a lengthy illness at Sault Area Hospital, our beloved Tullio Gualtieri at the age of 76 passed peacefully and gracefully into the loving arms of our Lord on Monday, April 2, 2012. His smiles and humour spread joy to those who were blessed to know him. Beloved husband of 5 7 years to his loving wife Rosina Gilda, with whom he built a life and raised a family. Tullio took great pride in all of his children which include: Maria Malta (Greg), Frank Gualtieri, Anna Capone (Marco), Roberto Gualtieri (Michelle) and Laura Gualtieri (John). To whom he will always be remembered as proud Nonno of Natascha and Sarah Malta; Alyssa and Michael Capone; Alexis, Tullio Robby, Aurora and Sophie Gualtieri and Hunter Wilson. Born May 12, 1935 and son of the late Maria and Tristano Gualtieri. Loving brother of Gina, and predeceased by a sister and two brothers in Italy. Zio to many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on the evening of Monday April 9th from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Tuesday, April 10th, 2012 at Holy Family Parish at 10 a.m. with Reverend Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made in Tullio's memory to the Sault Area Hospital Renal Dialysis Care Fund or Heart & Stroke of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
