With her loving family at her side, Mary passed
peacefully at the SAH (Plummer Palliative Care Unit) on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the age of 79. Dear friend and wonderful wife of 58 years to Arthur "Sonny" Gualazzi. Loving mother of Pamela (Dave) and Brian (Johanna). Loved and idolized by her grandchildren Alexander, Kayla, Alexa, the late Olivia, Amanda and Joshua. Daughter of the late Sam and Rose Petingalo. Dear sister of the late Sam Panco (late Eda), late Fred Petingalo (Mary), late John Petingalo (late Pearl), late Louis Petingalo (Theresa), late Peter Petingalo (Georgina), late Dominic Petingalo (late Deanna), Jim Petingalo (late June), Joseph Petingalo (late Margaret), Albert Petingalo (late Lynn), late Anne Cerenzie (late Frank), Emma Aubin (Ken), Betty
Eckley (late Russ), late Helen Schryer (late Bud), late Lucy and the late Barb. Sister-in-law of the late Venus D'Orazio (late Fred) and the late Alex (Pat). Special aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was the Consummate Fashion Lady and Cook Extraordinaire. She lived for her family and was the wind beneath all of our wings. Mary was a special friend to all of her Comares and Compares. She was a member of the St. Jerome's CWL. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Sunday, June 14, 2009 from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral mass will
be celebrated from St. Jerome's Catholic Church on Monday, June 15, 2009 at 11 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the SAH Renal Dialysis Care Fund, SAH Foundation or the St. Jerome's Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
