Peacefully at the Blind River District Health Centre, Blind River, Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Kim Groen (nee Bailey) of Blind River. Dear son of the late Wilma (Hulshof) and William Groen. Dear father of William Groen of Thronhill and Karen Gray (Robert) of Garden River. Dear grandfather of Kearstin and Rebecca Groen-Cloutier. Dear brother of Rita Sonke (Chris) and Hans Groen (Margaret) all of Sault Ste. Marie. Friends may call at the Menard Funeral Home, Blind River Monday, June 14, from 2 p.m. until service time at 4 p.m. from the Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of Leo’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion in Blind River following the service. Cremation to follow.
