Curtis Granger died suddenly at St-Michael’s Hospital, in Toronto Ontario, Wednesday September 6, 2023, at the age of 51. He was born April 5, 1972 in Echo Bay, Ontario. Beloved husband of Susan Mabardi. Loving stepfather of Sebastian and Lucas Nagy. Beloved son of Mary “Bunny” and James Blake Granger, Dear brother of Tammy Grexton (Terry). Treasured Unkie to Matthew, David and Margaret Grexton. Special grandson of late Annie and Jim Granger and late George and Margaret MacMillan. Dear son-in-law of Sylvana Naggiar and Jean Mabardi. Dear brother-in-law of Lori (née Mabardi) and Thomas Connor and uncle to Douglas and Gregory Connor. Curtis will be fondly remembered by his former colleagues at IBM and Amazon.

Curtis said the time will fly by. And it did. He never left a moment behind and he invited us to fly with him. He was a man who flew planes and rode motorcycles, drove tractors, and saw the world from all of them. He loved Susan, Lucas, and Sebastian with unwavering passion and a calm smile. His eyes gave away the depth of his love every moment. He balanced a profession in technology along with the dream of the countryside. He held strong to his roots in Echo Bay, and more than one Saturday night Bunny would call, and we would all talk to her. He would make Blake’s Potatoes and tell us who taught him to be the best man he could be. He was there the night Mike met his wife and sang Karaoke for Pamela. He loved to plan trips with Susan, finding the best beach, the best dinner, the best sunset. The time flew by, we missed not a minute, but still wish there were more.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 14 from 11:00 am to Noon at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Etobicoke, ON M8V 1K3,( at Fourteenth St. between Kipling and Islington Aves) Phone: (416) 259-3705.
