GOWLETT, Velma Irene

Passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in her 99_^th year.  She was born in Little Current on Manitoulin Island in 1913. Beloved wife of the late Walter Gowlett and loving mother of Earl Gowlett (Rose), Carol MacFarlane (Jack), Gayle Keenan (Tom) and predeceased by her oldest son Edward (Ruby). Fondly missed by her 13 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a devoted mother and friend.  Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation & Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.  A private family funeral service will take place.
