Peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital, with her family by her side on Friday, January 28, 2005 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of over 42 years to Leo. Loving mother of Mary-Jane Simonds (Ivan), Joanne Nimigon (Laverne) and Roger Toupin (Dawn). Proud grandma of Louise, Tammy, Jodie, Kristine, Jason, Nathalie, Old grandma of Brett. Dear sister of Jeanine Bond (Herbie), Henry Hamel (Helen), Anita Cloutier, Rachel Denomme, Johnny Hamel (late Alma), Joyce Hamel and late Nelson Hamel. Rita was predeceased by her parents Conrad and Rosa Hamel. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and Cookie. In loving memory of a dear wife and mother who will always be remembered for her kind heart and you will always be our angel.
