GOODMURPHY, Helen (1932-2012)

For six years this feisty lady put up a courageous battle against Cancer. However on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice she lost her fight and the Lord brought her home. A beloved wife of Elwood for 60 years. Loving caring and always concerned mother for Paul Goodmurphy (Karen), Rita Smith (Ash), Eric Goodmurphy (Colleen), Keith Goodmurphy (Melodie) and Carla Coverdale (Tom). A supportive and dependable grandmother to 13 grandchildren; Carly Goodmurphy, Jason Chornyj, Andrea Turner, Trevor Smith, Jamie Goodmurphy, Kylie Goodmurphy, Aaron Goodmurphy, Kyle Goodmurphy, Katie Goodmurphy, Cameron Goodmurphy, Lisa Coverdale and Scott Coverdale. A proud great grandmother to eleven great grandchildren.  Dear sister to Shannon McGregor and Coleen Jones (Dick). Sister-in-law to Armand Goodmurphy (late Rita) and Wilma Herd (Eddy). Special thanks to all the personnel at the ARCH, Community Care Access Centre, the Cancer Society and the Red Cross who helped her and the family during this long battle.
