It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Pauline at the age of 89. Daughter to the late James and Mildred Lawrence of Hartland New Brunswick. 

Beloved wife of Kenneth of 59 years. Proud mother of Tracy (Greg), Blake (Annetta), and predeceased by her son, Grant (Heather). Loving Grandma of Elizabeth, James, Deborah and Johanna Nikkel (Craig), Keith (Jessica) and Kyle Golder and Jessica Scott (Sean). Great Grandmother of Lenni, Harper, Brooklyn and Cole. Survived by her siblings, Audrey (late Oral) and Neil (late Nelly). Predeceased by her sister Beulah (Wallace), Melvin (Marion),Vaughn (Alma), Gerald (late Lena), Wilmot (Rita), Ivan (Alice), Muriel (late Merrill), Rowena (late Murray), and two infant brothers Merle and Dell. Loving sister-in-law of Carl Golder (Sandra), Harley (Liz), Hazen (Vicky), Harold, Marion (Mark), John and Reginald (Verna).

Pauline will be fondly remembered for her gentle and loving nature. She was a devout Christian for her entire life. She loved her husband and her family unconditionally and made new friends readily. Along with her love of gardening, mom was compelled to feed everyone that walked through her door.  

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Algoma Manor Nursing Home in Thessalon for their care and compassion. Also for the wonderful personal touch that they have added over the time mom has been there. 

Friends and family are invited to Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St E., 705-759-2522) on Saturday, June 8, 2024 From 10:00 am until time of the service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Bryan Windle officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie or Parkinson Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
