Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at the age of 77 with family at his side. Loving husband of Marie for 58 years. Caring father of the late Debbie Valois (Jeff) and Sherri Huard (Robert). Proud Grandpa of Kailee Valois (Jimmy), Tyler Huard (Brianna) and Candace Huard (Greg). Son of the late Richard and Irene Gjos. Dear brother of Guy (Marlene), the late Conrad (Myrna), Karen Haldenby (Harvey), Dawn (Gabe Gregoire), Beth West (late Stan) and Paula Milroy (Murray). Brother-in-law of Barbara Palmer (Bob), the late Lorne Pace (Jean) and Jack Pace (Fay). Gary will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by numerous hunting, camp and fishing friends.
A private memorial service will be held at Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) with Rev. Nancy Ferguson officiating.
