Unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Saturday, November 9, 2019 in her 81st year.
Beloved wife of Peter for 58 years. Much loved mother of April Jokelainen (Ron) and Andrea Socchia (Shawn). Proud Nana of Kristy and Jenna Jokelainen and Chase and Aria Socchia. Dear sister of Margaret Chung (Cliff) of England. Sister-in-law of Pauline Giles, late Wendy Fallas (late Keith), Jenny Bunn and Jane Parry (Paul) all of England.
Marion will also be missed by friends and extended family in England. Marion will be remembered for her 34 years as a much loved teacher in the multi-needs unit at William Merrifield VC Public School.
Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E. 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 1-3 pm. Sharing of memories and stories to follow at 3 pm. Feel free to wear bright colours, a pop of pink or something sparkly when you come to celebrate Marion's life. Memorial contributions payable by cheque to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
