GENDRON, Eva Marie

(October 18, 1933 – September 20, 2011) – It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Eva Gendron announces her peaceful passing at the Lady Dunn Health Centre in Wawa on Tuesday September 20, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Eva was a sweet, loving, generous and hardworking woman who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her family was the main priority in her life and her home was always open for a great bowl of homemade soup for anyone that dropped in for a visit. Eva is survived by her loving husband Roger of 59 years. Loving mother of Jocelyne (Henry), Mario, Liliane (Ken), Lynda (Wilfred), Conrad (Johanne), Gilles, Carol (Frank) and Nichole (Gary). Devoted grandmother of André, Ryan, Derek, Durwin, Sara, Natalie, Graham, Danielle, Dallas, Fayanne, Shawn, Tyler, Justin and Meghan. Proud great grandmother of Shane, Samara, Rylee and Cadence. Dear daughter of the late Alexandre and Marie-Jeanne (nee Rochette) Allaire and predeceased by one brother. Eva will be sadly missed by her family, her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit at St. Basils Catholic Church, White River on Saturday September 24, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Manuel officiating. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Mom, you were truly a special person and we feel very fortunate to have been given the gift of having such a wonderful mother like you.
