GARRETT, Susan

Master cross country skier, swimmer, cyclist, kayaker, educator and environmental advocate. Died suddenly of a stroke on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Survived by her life partner, Jennifer McIntyre. Daughter of John Dunfield (late Carol), sister of Tom Dunfield (Shannon) and sister in law of Jeannelle Romain (Donat). Predeceased by brother David Dunfield. Remembered by nieces Allison, Melissa, Lisa, nephew Cory and many cousins. In Susan’s memory donations can be made to the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society, the Nature Conservancy of Canada or a charity of choice. Friends and family are invited to participate in a memorial celebration of Susan’s life at the home of Linda and Eric Piscopo at 73 Hadley Park on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 4 pm onward.
