After a brief struggle with dementia Lester George (Les) Gardiner passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, at the Whitefish Care Centre in Whitefish, Montana.
Les leaves six children with the late Gloria Marzetti; Laura Hernden, Pat (Anne), Brian (Micheline), Scot (Bob Crane), Cheryl (Barry Bondarenko) and Marcia (Tom Steepe) as well as nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Les was the son of the late Percy and Hattie Gardiner; he leaves siblings Jim (late Joy), late Bill (late Lenora), late Calvin (Sally) (late Jean), Shirley Daynard (late Bill Flood), Murray (Gail) (late Cora), Lorna Hagan (late Ron), Fay Pace (Jack), Jack (Judy), Gary (Penny). Les is also remembered by his Hicks in-laws.
Those who knew Les will remember his ready smile and his zest for life.
