Born March 28, 1926. Peacefully at Pathways Retirement Home on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 80. Best friend and companion of Winnogene Sturgeon. Son of the late George and Agnes Furkey. Brother of Erma Stewart (late Arthur), Gordon Furkey (Muriel) and the late Reginald Furkey (late Jean). Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel. Miss Aileen Hadden officiating. Cremation with interment Richards Landing Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Matthews Memorial Hospital Association or Auxiliary or to the charity of your choice would be appreciate by the family.
