November 26, 1939 - July 17, 2021
At age 81, Lionel Frigault passed away quietly and peacefully on Saturday July 17, 2021 with family by his side. Dad was raised in the Hamilton area and had a great sense of humour. He loved jokes and puns and making people smile with his infamous Donald Duck voice.
Dad also loved the outdoors and moved to Elliot Lake after retirement. He met his second wife, Carol and they spent a wonderful 14 years together. Music was a big part of his life. Dad enjoyed playing guitar and singing and was a member of the Elliot Lake Men of Song. Some of his favourite hobbies were camping, hiking, tai chi and crossword puzzles.
Dad will be missed by his wife Carol and her daughter, his sisters, his 6 children and their spouses, and MANY nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and extended family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. De Bortoli, nurses and staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Hillside Park Retirement Home in Elliot Lake, the Bayshore nurses, and Dad’s friends for their compassionate care and support.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
Rest in Peace Dad, you’ve created quite a legacy and will be missed by so many people.
