Peacefully at the FJ Davey Home surrounded by family on Monday, July 16, 2007 in his 97th year. Loving husband of Elsie for 65 years. Dearest father of Carol Clarke (late Robert) of Comox, BC and Mavis Crawford (Alan). Cherished grandfather of Christine Watt (Roger) of Comox, BC., Andrea Cheung (Rob) of Vancouver, BC., Steven Clarke (Megan) of Vancouver, BC., Jane Johnston (Chris) of Sault Ste. Marie, and Susie Crawford (James McQueen) of London, Ontario. Great grandfather of Jayson, Owen and Carlin Watt of Comox, BC., Alexis, Georgia and Andrew Cheung and Nathaniel Clarke all of Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Leah Siegman (late Siggy), Eric Freeman (late Nora), Fred Freeman (Dorothy) and Mary Morgan. Brother-in-law of Ken Rose (Ida), Alfred Rose (late Marny), the late Arthur Rose (Eileen) and the late Joseph Rose (June). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007 at St. Luke’s Cathedral at 2 pm. Rev. Mal Binks officiating. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Columbarium. Memorial contributions to St. Luke’s Cathedral or the F.J. Davey Home would be appreciated by the family.
