(1932 – 2011) Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, Sault Ste. Marie on Sunday, October 30, 2011. He will be sadly missed by his special friend and partner Lorraine Skagen of Sault Ste. Marie, his daughter Samantha Jones and partner Sonny, grandchildren Genevieve and Vilena all of Massey. Beloved husband to the late Lenore O’Donnell (Corrigan). Stepfather to Mike (Cheryl) O’Donnell of Brechin and step-grandfather to Shannon, Scott and Dan (Melissa) O’Donnell. Kathy (Frank) Smith of Ottawa and step-grandfather to Robin (Jen), Kristen (MJ) Smith and Mardi (Adam) Blatherwick. Also husband to the late Lillian Trembinski of Sault Ste. Marie and step-father to Gary (Edythe), Rick (Brenda), Don (Christine), Fred (Nicole), Terry (Julie). Brother to the late Joe (Phyllis) Freeland both predeceased and Norman Freeland, predeceased. Uncle to Gary and Wayne Freeland, Laine (Ed) White, Karen (Ron) O’Connell and Sandra (predeceased) (Tim) Herriman. Special thanks to all the nurses on B-wing for their kindness and compassion given to Earl during his stay and special thanks to nurse Tracy for all your care and concern. Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Brechin, with a reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Brechin Br. #488 in Brechin, Ontario.
