Born Cecile Marie Blanche Poirier May 12, 1930, died May 24, 2012. Wife of the late Donald (Don). Much loved and cherished mother of Glenna Davey (Fabio Tonello), Linda Frolich (Brian), Keith (Marla), Carol, Janet, Kenny, Roger and Robert Johnston. Predeceased by sons Donnie and Randy (Laurie). Daughter of the late Arthur (Art) and Blanche Poirier. Sister of Albert (Louise), Ernie (Norma), Yvonne Nelmes (Jack) of Chatham, ON and Bob (Eunice). Grandmother, great grandmother and aunt of many. Fondly remembered and loved by Don’s family Steve (Laurie), late Shirley Seccariaccia (Frank), Gloria Bumbaco (Frank), Donna Clayton (John) and Irene Deschamps. Sister-in-law of Ron and Evelyn Bridge. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at ARCH for the care, compassion and love they showed mom. Thanks to Father Jack David and Father Pat Woods for their blessings. In keeping with mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
