Cherished nonna of Christopher Frattolin (Michele) of California, Sonya Caranci (David) of Windsor and Jennifer Pisani of Toronto. Great-grandmother of Sawyer and Walker Caranci. Aunt to many nieces and nephews here and in Italy. Cousin to Anthony Battel (Antonietta) of Sault Ste. Marie. Onorina was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker who took pride in her home and family. A truly talented cook, Onorina provided her family many opportunities to anticipate and partake in her extraordinary meals. We will miss her determination, uniqueness and strong will. We would like to thank the very dedicated and caring staff of the FJ Davey Home (Driftwood Beach 2). Onorina frequently expressed her appreciation of the care given to her and often enjoyed communicating with the staff. We believe that our mother received the most wonderful care during her stay there and we fully appreciate the attention and compassion given to her. We extend our thanks to Dr. Wystma and to the many residents and visitors who befriended Onorina during the past five years. A private (family only) visitation will be held at the Arthur Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, October 18, 2010. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the FJ Davey home would be appreciated by the family. Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
