It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna Fratesi at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the age of 49 years. Dear wife and life long friend of Stephen. Mother and life coach to Stephanie (Chris Gibson), Kevin and Ryan. Dear daughter of Frank and Frances Medaglia. Cherished sister of Carmella Novello (Mario), Mary Cuglietta (Gus), Rose Medaglia (Luciano Cavaliere) and Ivana Medaglia-Iuliano (John). Daughter-in-law of Dina Fratesi (late Earl). Sister-in-law of Sam Fratesi (Marilyn), Joe Fratesi (Judy), Michael Fratesi and Mary Anne Borrelli (Aldo). Anna will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call at Northwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Veronica's Church on Friday, November 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Cancer Care Fund or A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family.
