FRANCHUK, Carl John

August 13, 1922-September 9, 2004. Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 82. Predeceased by his 2nd wife Edith, and his 1st wife Sara, as well as his step son Craig Strain and siblings Helen, Ted, Henry, Lenarda McDonald and Nellie Bak. Lovingly remembered by son Michael (Ida) and daughter Heather Strain, grandchildren Sara, Peter, Sherri and Kevin, 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. At Carl’s request cremation has taken place, and interment will take place at a later date in Lake of the Woods Cemetery, Kenora. A special thank you to all the caring staff at the Sault Area Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
