Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at the SAH, Plummer Site on Monday, September 25, 2006 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Agathe (Faucon) for over 54 years. Loving father of Guy (Nicole) of North Bay, Lise Glassford (Colin) of Markham, Luc of Ottawa, Lyne Beharriell (Allyn) of London, Anne of Walpole Island and Evelyne of Sault Ste. Marie. Cher “Pepère” of Dylan, Jules-Pierre, Jessica, Dominique, Gregory, Robert, Zheesheebenh, Arnold, Marina and Riel. Dear brother of Madeline Levesque (Jean) of Repentigny, Quebec. Emile will be fondly remembered by his many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Emile was employed in the construction industry with both Foundation Company of Canada and Stone & Webster Ltd. for 45 years on an international basis. Emile was also a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada (P.M.A.C.) having served as its local president for two terms. “Pepère” will be especially remembered by his grandchildren for being an avid gardener, sports fan, cribbage player and watching the ships on the St. Mary’s River. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, September 28, 2006 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Jerome’s Catholic Church, 26 Carmel Road, on Friday, September 29, 2006 at 10 am. Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
