It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Rene Fortin at the Sault Area Hospital with family by his side on Tuesday, March 26, 2013.  Loving husband of Elizabeth for 60 years.  Cherished father of Jamie (Chris), Karen Martin (Eric), Sharen Della Savia (Jerry).  Grandfather of Andrew Martin, Nicole Martin, Brianne Della Savia, Leigh Della Savia and Brandon Fortin.  Dear brother of Yvonne St. Jules (late Rudy) and predeceased by Irene Mitchell (late Earl), Rita Atkinson (late Bob), Emmanuel (late May) and Carmelia Atkinson (late Ed).  Brother-in-law of Doris Agnew (late Don), Joyce Booth (Don), Joan Godfrey (Wayne), Janet Edwards (late Don) and predeceased by Marion Caple (late Ed), Eva Gough (George), Helen Roberts (late Barry) and Pat St.Germain (late Don).  Remembered by many nieces and nephews.  In respecting Rene’s wishes a private family service will be held.  Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.  Memorial contributions to the Parkinson’s Society, ARCH or the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com
