FORBES, Patricia Margaret (Maggie)

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Patricia Margaret (Maggie) Forbes on Saturday September 28, 2019. Dear Mother of Karen Margaret Forbes, Deborah Anne Forbes aka Brooke Forbes and the late Michael Lawrence Forbes.

Survived by ex-husband and father of the children, Larry Forbes.  Mother in law to Gary Bimblick. Sister to Heather Swenson, predeceased by brother Bryce Gallop and twin sister Myrna McDonald. Sister in-law to Nils Swenson and brother in law to the late Brian McDonald. Sister in law to Brian MacDougall, Ella Rose Evoy, the late Grace Kozak and Jack Forbes and Judy Gallop. Extended Family of Nieces and Nephews including Doug and Anne McDonald, Darlene and Bob Nicholson, Darla and Robert St. Amour, Linda Hryhorchuk and Janice McCausland,  Nick Kozak, Lino Furtado and Lino Bruni.  Furry friends: Mr. Ferret, Amigo, Trixie and Jake. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Ernest Gallop, and her life partner Scott Desjardins. 

We chose this photo with her twin sister, Myrna McDonald on the right, as we felt this showed Maggie's true innocence and essence. Maggie’s spirit lives on and her shining light will be greatly missed by all who shared in her journey of human life. She blazed new trails with her avant-garde thinking and blessed the world with her attitude.

A Celebration of Life will be held Summer 2020, location TBD.
