Surrounded by family on August 27, 2008 at Sault Area Hospital - Plummer Site. Beloved wife of Jack Forbes for 47 years. Will be missed by her children Nicole and John. Special gran to Shawn, Alisha, Jordan, Arranda, Chelsea, Bradley, John Jr. and Tyler (the triplets). Great gran to Nicholas, Michael, Mattie and Sophie. Cherished sister to Janet Spooner (late Leonard), Donald and the late Dale. Predeceased by her favorite uncle Jack Moreau, her parents Mazie and Fred Anning. Sister-in-law Ella Rose Evoy (late Bud), late Grace Kozak (Harold), Larry Forbes (Dolly). Auntie to many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by Bob and Darlene Nicholson and many other friends at Clear Lake Campground. Barbara was a long time member of the daughters of Isabella. She will be remembered for her many passions such as gardening and making beautiful wedding cakes. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Sault Area Hospital palliative and oncology unit and to Jamie Lynn Kozak. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 6 – 9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 11 am.
