Peacefully at the Plummer Hospital on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of Francesco Florio. Dear mother of Anna Brundia (Rocco), Carlo Florio (Pauline) and the late Eugenio Florio. Loving grandmother of Diego, Valentino and Daniele Brundia and Jennifer
Florio (Cory Streeter). Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Tommassina Licastro. Ida is survived by her sisters and brother in Europe. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces
and nephews in Europe and Canada. Friends may call at Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Veronica's Church on Thursday, March 12, 2009
at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Ron Ambeault officiating. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by
the family. The family wish to thank Dr. Ianni and the nurses at the Plummer Hospital for all their care. Also, a thank you to our family and friends who visited Ida at the hospital.
