At the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, May 24, 2006; Dave Fleury of Goulais River, Ontario. Loving husband of Bernadette. Dear father of Giselle (Chris), Tracy (Corey), Tammy (Jamie) and Lionel (Amber). Special Papa to Dave, Storm, Danielle, Jade, Jesse and Jonathon. Son of the late Desiree and Alma Fleury. Brother of Denis (Linda), Edsel (Joyce), Lily (Larry), Alphee, Donald (Cathy), Germaine (Guy), Jerry (Margot) and Lise (Rudy). Best friend of Marlene and Bob. Special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Dave will be missed by his many co-workers in the Forestry Industry. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral and committal service in the Chapel on Saturday, May 26, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Don McMillan officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital - Oncology Unit or Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.

God saw you getting tired
when a cure was not to be.

In tears we saw you sinking.
we watched you fade away.
Our hearts were truly broken,
you fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
peacefully and free from pain,
we could not wish you back, to suffer that again.

So keep Your arms around him, Lord,
and give him special care,
make up for all he suffered,
that seemed to us unfair,
so many times we've needed you, so many times we've cried.
If love could have saved you, you never would have died.
