November 4, 1962 – July 18, 2023 - Passed away peacefully at the Whitehorse General Hospital with her devoted partner Kevin Bayley by her side, following a tough battle with cancer. She was the proud mother of Rick and Sharlene both of Whitehorse. Born in Sault Ste. Marie, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Fisher and Trudy Nelson (Victor) of White Rock, B.C. Shelly was the beloved sister of Susan Bursche (Peter), Dan Fisher (Patty) and Mark Fisher (Rachel), late Wendy Kennedy (Chuck), Shannon Robertson (Chris), Raymond Fisher and Robert Fisher (Aislinn). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her Aunt Shirley Bailey- Meeks (late Russell) (Chuck) and Aunt Crystal Bringleson.

Shelly made her way west settling in Fireside, B.C. and eventually moving to Beaver Creek, Yukon where she would raise her children and start a career with the Yukon Government as a heavy equipment operator. Later, she would re-educate herself and work in Human Resources YTG in Whitehorse where she would retire. The small community of Tagish, Yukon called her name. This is where she would find peace in the quiet surroundings with her beloved dog Dakota by her side.

In accordance with her wishes, Shelly has been cremated and will be interred alongside her father, Raymond Fisher, and her grandparents, John and Lenora Fisher. A private family service will be held at a later date.

In her memory, reach out to a family member or friend. Let them know you are there for them. Rest in Peace Shelly. Hope you and Bob Barker are enjoying watching the Price is Right. Love you always.
