Passed away peacefully at the Plummer Memorial Hospital on Sunday March 28, 2004 at the age of 63 years. Dear husband of Janet. Special father of; Karen Darlow (Michael) and Anita (Stephen Kennington) and step-father of; Donald Wonnacott, Tom Wonnacott (Melonie) and Julie McQuabbie Myles). Grandfather of; Ryan, Jasmine, Maverick, Xander, David, Kaitlin, Nicole, Lindsay and Danielle. Beloved son of Alice and the late Archie Findlay. Brother of; Jim Findlay (Carol), Betty Findlay, Jill Nicholson (Jack) and the late Joe Findlay (Clarinda). Stan will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Northwood Funeral Home (942 Great Northern Road 945-7758) on Wednesday March 31, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. until time of memorial service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dr. Bryan Lapier officiating. Memorial donations made to the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the Doctors and nurses of the Cancer Clinic, the 4th Floor and the ComCare nurses, especially Leena Orchard.
