passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at the age of 75. Dear wife of the late Clifford. Beloved mother of Michael (Lisa) and Midge Hindermeier (Rick). Stepmother of Jim Goodall. Loving Grammy of Matthew & Christopher Figures and Rickie, Warren, Mark & Bridgit Hindermeier. Step grandmother of Charlene and Tricia. Sister of Herman LaFlamme (Merita), Wesley LaFlamme (Marion), Anita Harris (late Doug), Erma MacNeil (Ian), O’Neil LaFlamme (Raymonde) and the late Alma Taillon (late Marcel) and Aaron Laflamme. Sister-in-law of the late Jean Kriwoy (late Paul). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Ruth dedicated her life to helping those in need. She gave unselfishly to help others who were unable to help themselves. Everyone who knew her will miss her warm smile and the twinkle in her eyes. At Ruth’s request, a private family service was held at the Barton and Kiteley Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Monday, July 28, 2003, with Rev. Bob Elkin officiating. Memorial donations to the Algoma Lung Association would be appreciated.
