FALCIONI, Joseph copy.jpg BIO

“Gone to Rest in God’s Hands” on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in his 97th year, gently and peacefully with his children by his side.  Dad’s greatest love was his family.  Dad is now reunited with his beloved wife and “Best Buddy” Marjorie.  Precious father (Dadio) and mentor to Joseph (Lynn), Richard, Angela (Bob) and the late Larry and Diana whom are dearly loved, missed and never forgotten.  Dad so loved his daughter-in-law Linda.  There was never a more loving and proud Nono to his grandchildren Siobhan (Neville), Aaron, Samia and Matthew.  Equally as proud Great Nono to his darlings Mikayla and Jayden. Loving brother of the late Ezio, late Dorothy (late Derno), late Helen (late Johnny), Ken (Eileen) and Ron (late Rose)(Helen).  Much loved brother-in-law of the late Victor, late William, late Joey, late Charles, late Val (late Len), late Marie (Frank), late June (late Reg), Delores (late Rodger), Mary (late Phillip), Doris (Jack), May (Junior) and Audrey (late Bill).  Dad will watch over many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.  Some of Dad’s greatest memories was time spent with Grandpa and Grandma Eldington and Uncle Buck.  Thank you for the special love you have shown to our Dad.

Dad was a World War II Veteran stationed in Goose Bay, Labrador as a Gunner. He returned home and helped his Mom and Dad, Jenny and Chop with the family business “The Chicken Coop” before fulfilling his career as Head Bartender at Stop 17 Lounge.  With keeping Dad’s wishes a private family service will be held with interment at a later date at Holy Sepulchre in which our brother Larry will be laid to rest beside Dad.

Our family would like to thank Every Nurse, PSW and Constant Care Worker on 3B at the Sault Area Hospital as our Dad received exceptional care.  An extra special thank you to Cathy Hein for all your love and support.  A warm thank you to Doctors Bruni, Stewart, Bowen, Jarrett, Ianni (Dad’s GP for years) and beautiful Dr. Booth for your care, support, wisdom and compassion.  Memorial donations to the SAH Foundation would be appreciated by the family.  (Arrangements entrusted to Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel – 492 Wellington St. E.  705-759-2522.)
