(July 15, 1940- January 4, 2011) - In the early hours of the morning of January 4, 2011 with his family at his side. Wayne finished writing his 70th chapter in his book of life. After a very long struggle with many illnesses and dialysis it was finally his calling to return to a better place. In which he will be watching down on the rest of his family, until their chapters come to an end. Wayne will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife of almost 51 years, Janice Evans, his four legged friend “Suzie Q” and his children Wayne Jr. (Sharon), Zilla (Jack) Ferguson, Robert, Gordon (Bev) and Judy (Steven) Leffler. His grand children: Kayla, Kelly (Andrew) Wardell, Nathan, Jacob, Taylor, Emily, Hunter, Aimie, Ryan, Timothy, Heidi Jesse (Little Man). Great Grand child (his new little angel) Kaydence Hailie. He was reunited with his parents Francis Arnold and Zilla, sister Betty and brother Basil and Gordon. Wayne will be greatly missed by sisters Lois, Nolene, and brother Winston (Church). Many nieces and nephews will miss Wayne deeply as well. We would like to give a special thank you to Wayne’s lifelong friend Charles Plaskett and Brother Church for being at the hospital until the end. We know that the comfort of you both being at Wayne’s side also made his transition much easier. A very special Thank you goes out to “His Girls” at the Sault Area Renal, to Doctor Berry, and Doctor Shafie and Doctor Skinner. Wayne’s family would also like to give a Big Thank you to the two nurses at the Emergency on the day of December 31, 2010, and to the nurses and staff on the 5th floor at the General Hospital. A celebration of Wayne’s life will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at Pim Street Community Church (Nazarene) (369 Pim Street) from 2:30 - 4:30 pm. Service starts at 3:00 pm.
