Laura (Tucci) Erlandson of Byesville, Ohio passed away peacefully on October 25, 2021 in her daughter's home in Camden Wyoming, Delaware. 

Laura was 96 years old, born in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, Canada to Guiseppe and Pierina (Joe and Pearl) Tucci in 1925.  Laura and her husband Curtis met when he was an Air Force officer stationed in northern Michigan.  They married in 1955, and had three children, Cammie (Jim) Braden of Reynoldsburg, OH, Paula Coleman of Camden Wyoming, DE, and Marty (Debbie) Erlandson of Mount Vernon OH; eleven grandchildren,   Laurie (Kirk) Kieffer, Alesia (John) Sargent, Jeb (Abby) Braden, Sara (Mike) Luongo, Jake Braden, Kellie (Renee Delong) Coleman, Jamie (Wat) Cecil, Shelby Erlandson, Curtis Erlandson, Jaxson Monroney, and Teegan Monroney; eleven great grandchildren;  Laura was the second of seven children and is survived by her brothers, Guido Tucci and Norman Tucci, and her sister Donna Donofrio all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. 

Laura is joining in heaven her husband of 45 years, Curtis Erlandson; her parents; her brothers, Primo Tucci, Carmen Tucci, Joey Tucci, and her precious great granddaughter, Alaina Braden.

Laura's faith was of utmost importance in her life.  She was a 51 year member of Holy Trinity and Christ Our Light Catholic Parish.  She was involved in the Women's Club, St. Francis Society, and led a fundraising effort for the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Byesville.

Laura was an avid reader, and was recycling long before it was popular. She was proud of being Canadian, and of her Italian heritage. She was always excited to meet a paisan. She also loved to hear of others' heritage. Laura was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Laura had so many friendships she cherished over the years.  Her caring and giving personality was admired by many.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations can be made to Delaware Hospice. Memorial gifts can be made online, over the phone, or via check to 911 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901 or St. Benedict Elementary School, 220 N. 7th Street Cambridge, Ohio 43725 in memory of Laura Erlandson. 

Visitation will be Friday (Nov. 5th) from 4-8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville. Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday (Nov. 6th) at Christ Our Light Parrish with Fr. Paul Hrezo officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Byesville.
