Passed away peacefully at the Great Northern Retirement Home on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at the age of 93. Loving husband of the late Orvilla. Dear father of Donna St. Onge (Edward), Lynne Petingalo (Albert), Barbara Pyykonen (Gus), Tom Eckford (Lynne), Jerry Eckford (Nancy), Darlene Weise (Horst). Beloved Papa of and great Papa of many. Brother of the late Ruby Byrnes (Jim), late Jessie Irwin (Frank) and the late Belle Sullivan (Leo). Brother-in-law of the late Melba Brooks (Jim), late Ellwood Thompson (Eleanor) and Ron Thompson (Anne). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At the request of James there will be no visitation. Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. James’ family would like to express its deeply felt gratitude to the administrators and staff of the Great Northern Retirement Home for the loving care they showed during his stay.
