At the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019 at the age of 53.  Loving son of Cecilia Grace and James Wilfred Eagle.  Beloved partner of Kelly Brown.  Cherished father of Cecilia Lorraine Eagle, Jared Musgrove, Cheyanna Musgrove, Grace Musgrove (and their mother Kelly Musgrove) and step father of Jordan Myran and Marcus Wynne. Dear brother of Joan Gobeil (Claude), Joyce Eagle, Glenda Eagle (Rick), Don Eagle (Geraldine) and the late Barbara Gail Eagle. Great grandson of the late John & the late Jane Eagle and of the late Gilbert & the late Elizia Maud.  Grandson of the late Roy & the late Theresa Eagle and of the late Richard & the late Pauline Shingoose. Special nephew of the late Bertha Eagle, late twins Rose & Joseph Eagle, the late Raymond Eagle, late Glen Eagle, the late Gertie Eagle (and her late son Glennie James), late Tom Eagle (Muriel) (and his late son Raymond Eagle), Rita Eagle and Gilbert Eagle.  Diamond Dave will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins and very close friends from around the country and Europe and Italy.  Pall bearers and Honorary pall bearers for the service will be Jordan Myran, Marcus Wynne, Jordan Musgrove, Sean Bouthiette, Stephen Shirreffs and Richard Eagle, Jared Musgrove, Doug Commegan, Claudette Commanda, Ryan Gobeil, Shelley Wilcox, Wendy Anne Jocko, Norma Mennes, Della Mennes, Karen Whalen, Rhonda Commanda, Joseph Maud, Annette Sarazin, Keith Deschambeault, Irene Lynxleg, Dave Jansen, Chief Cameron Catcheway of the Frist Nations Skownan Band and Chief McKay of Valley River First Nations Band.  

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation at the Arthur Funeral Home - Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. East 705-759-2522) on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  A memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1 pm.  Elder Willard Pine will be presiding the ceremony.  Interment to take place at a later date at the Saint Joachim Catholic Cemetery, corner of 119 Street and 106 Avenue, Edmonton, AB beside baby Barbara Gail Eagle (his sister).  

David was a very kind and generous person, he cared for people on the street although he had nothing himself.  His last wish was to give the gift of life and his heart is now beating somewhere in London, Ontario.

The Eagle family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital ICU staff including the Dr's involved and nurse Michelle.  They would also like to expressing their sincere appreciation to the person that called the police and attended to David's needs until help arrived.  Thank you also to the Police Services and the Experts who are continuing to help resolve and bring due justice that is owed to Dave in this tragic incident. You are all doing a great job.
