Peacefully at the F .J. Davey Home on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 in her 89th year. Wife of the late John Golden. Dear friend of John Figures. Mother of Jessie Hickingbottom (late Floyd), Sharon Robertson (Don), Gary Dunlop (Lise), Randy, Grant, Julian, Wendy, Wanda Maione (Frank) and the late Angus and Jacqueline. Grandmother of 22 and great grandmother of 15. Sister of Ella Lehman (late Hewson) and predeceased by Tom, Bill, Francis, Charlie, Art, Amelia, Elva, Matilda and Edward. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Sally was recognized with the 1992 “Heart of the Sault” Award. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, January 5, 2007 from 1 pm until time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Bruce McLeish officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the “angels” at the F. J. Davey Home, the Sault Area Hospital and the Bayshore Home Care.
