DUBREUIL, Augustin Alfred

Posted

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our father Augustin Alfred Dubreuil. He was the strongest, most ingenious, humble, hard working man we will ever know. Born in Taschereau, Quebec, he is the third of the four Dubreuil brothers who founded Dubreuilville and its industry. When not hard at work he loved to socialize with family and friends and to give unforgettable airplane rides. He will be greatly missed by his companion Solange Gaudet and his children Ginette Robert (Larry), Pierre (Rosaline), Diane Kelly (Terry), Andre, Lynne Belanger (Paulette) and Martin (Wendy). Grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 17. Brother of Paquerette Desgagne (late Ben), Marcel (Yolande) and predeceased by Therese, Emma, Napoleon, Florence, Helene and Joachim. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at Tendercare for their exceptional care. And a special thank you to his nephews Jean-Paul and Raymond for all their cribbage games and special times. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from Paroisse Sainte-Marie-du-Sault on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 12:30 pm. Rev. Jean-Pierre Couillard officiating. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. He has taken his last flight in the sky, may he rest in God’s arms. Au revoir papa, nous t’aimons. Expressions of sympathy may be offered at www.arthurfuneralhome.com.
