Following a courageous battle with cancer, Aurèle went peacefully to be with our Lord on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the age of 84, at home surrounded by his loving family. C’est avec beaucoup de peine que nous disons aurevoir à notre cher papa. Son of the late Zénon and Maria DuBois. Beloved husband of Cécile (née Morin) for 61 years. Cher papa de Claire Scornaienchi (Don), Denise Loveless (Murray), Carmen Charsley (Carmen Blatter), Ray DuBois (Wanda), Paul DuBois, Thérèse Styles (Rob) and Carole Gibson (Peter). Pépère aimable de Ronnie, Renée (Rick), Chantal (Justin), Monique, Daniel (Audra), Joëlle (E.J.), Lindsay, Michael, Carrie, Courtney (John), Meagan (Hannu), Darryl, Kate and Meg. Grand-pépère de Dean, Dustin, Mason, Lily and Connor. Predeceased by his brother Jos DuBois and his sister Albertine Tessier (Willie). Will be fondly remembered in the hearts of his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Aurèle was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus #7999. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, October 6, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Jerome’s Church on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at 9 am. Rev. Hamish Currie and Révérend Norman Fortier officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
