Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital – General Site on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 in her 91st year. Wife of the late Lester. Loving mother of Michael (Tarja), late Lance (Pat) and the late David. Cherished Nana of Lance, Michael (Sara), Dave (Rene), Dennis, Roug, David Michael (Susanna) and the late Jason. Proud “Nana Banana” of 6 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Audrey Slatcher (late Bill) and late Bill Nelson (Mae). Sister-in-law of Mildred Vesala, Stephanie Cosgrove and Leo Doucette. Irene will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Sharing of memories will take place at Peoples Pentecostal Church on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 1:30 pm until memorial service at 2 pm. Pastor Ed Morin officiating.
