DORE, Lily Lempi Martikainen

With heavy hearts we regret to announce the passing of our mother, Lily Dore, on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in her 90th year at the Great Northern Nursing Centre. Beloved wife and dancing partner of the late Albert Dore. Much loved mother of Patti Pratt (Bob), Norma Poirier (Ernie), Linda McMillan (Pat), Donna Mackenzie (Ian), Joe Dore and Chris Dore (Diane). Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 15. Sister of the late Ella Truman (late Fred), late Sylvia Maki (late Eino) and late Elma Kartio (late Larry). Lily will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 11 am until time of memorial service in the chapel at 1 pm. Sister Shannon Hickey officiating. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Sault Ste. Marie Chapter of the Easter Seals Society were Lily’s wishes.
