DOOL, Clayton Barry

The family sadly announces the passing of Clayton Barry Dool,
peacefully into God's hands, in his 80th year, on November 13, 2008. Survived by his
loving wife of 29 years, Kathleen (Plewman). Clayton is survived by the devoted
children of his marriage to the late Mildred (Strom), Penny Macnamara (Dean), Jackie
Cain (Joe), Debbie Fawcett (Randy), Clayton Jr. (Barbara), Ron (Karen) and Dawn Olar
(Doug). Also survived by his loving step-daughters Sandy MacDonald Neal (Tim) and
Peggy MacDonald Gasparetto (Dave). He will be sadly missed by his beloved
grandchildren, Charlie (Sabine), Shannon, Kathryn and Rachel Macnamara, Jeremy and
Matthew Cain, Ryan and Becky Fawcett, Carly and Michael Dool, Sean Tallon Dool and
Kyleigh Maille (Jeff), Joshua and Lauren Olar, D.J. (Carla) and Joey Lappalainen and
Maggie Gasparetto, Michael and Kim Hawdon and Danny Neal and great granddaughters
Kelsie Thibault Cain and Juliette Macnamara. Clayton was the 10th child of the late
Penman and Edith Dool and loving brother of the late Viola and Harry Waite, late
Nora and Everett Johnson, Elgantine Cudlipp (late Raymond), late Penman and Violet
Dool, late Stanley Dool (Norma), late Sidney and Donna Dool, late Luella and Roy
Pitcher, Lloyd Dool (late Peggy, late Hellen), Iris Chalmers (late George), Leslie
Dool (late Arlene) and Donald Dool (late Shirley). Clayton was a very proud man and
dealt with his illness with grace and courage. He had a wonderful sense of humour,
and was always conscious of his responsibilities to his family. Clayton will be
fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbours, with whom
he shared his life. The family would like to especially thank Dr. Spadafora for her
care and affection to Clayton through the past 7 years of his illness and the
wonderful nurses at the Cancer Clinic and Palliative Care area of the Sault Area
Hospital (Plummer Site). Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation
Centre on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on
Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (Albert St.E) at 1
pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Algoma Residential
Community Hospice (ARCH) would be appreciated by the family.
