Peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, June 4, 2012 surrounded by her family in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Doherty Sr. Loving mother of Sheila Fraser (Jim), Jack Doherty and the late Gordon Doherty Jr. Cherished grandmother and great grandmother of many. Dear sister of the late Clifford Dowding (late Elsie). A private family service was held on Thursday, June 7, 2012. Memorial contributions made to the Algoma Residential Community Hospice (ARCH) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to all attending physicians and nurses at the SAH for your excellent care and kindness. It was much appreciated by the family.
