Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Friday January 7, 2022, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Florence Dixon. Dear father of Gail (Chico), Michelle and predeceased by Terry, Keith and Gwen. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Roy (Kelly), David (Kayla), Crystal (Cody) and A.J. Cherised great grandfather of 8. Son of the late Clarence and Gertrude. Survived by his brother Evans (Helen) and the late Tom (Sylvia) and Teresa (Cliff). Best friend of Suzie Q. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Known as Dixon, Gene worked many years on the pipeline local 793, he will always be remembered by his pipeline family.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when he will be laid to rest with his wife Florence.
