DION, Irma Karen (Heinonen)

Born in Haliburton County, May 6, 1935. Irma peacefully passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, August 12, 2012. Devoted and loving wife of Fred (Alfred) for 58 years. Mother of Michael (Susanne) and Lauri (Crystal). Grandmother of Jessica and Nicholas of Halifax, N.S. Cherished and remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends Tyvan and Kevin Caudle. Sister of the late Lauri (late Elva) and the late Leo (late Helen). Daughter of the late Matilda and Anton Heinonen. Friends may call at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 6 - 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11 am. Rev. Mal Binks officiating. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to St. John’s Anglican Church, the Arthritis Society or to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
